TuneRegistry aims to be the leading music metadata management platform for independent music creators and small-to-medium sized record companies and music publishers. To do that, we are making plan and feature updates based on our evaluation of the user experience, based on feedback from our user community, and based on opportunities that we create with our partners within the greater music industry.
Today, we are happy to announce that we've increased the song catalog limit for ALL premium plans. We believe that music creators and rights-holders will grow with TuneRegistry over time. We also believe that no one wants to be slapped with excessive overage fees for simply being active creators and rights-holders. So, instead of charging a monthly excess fee per songs that exceed catalog limits (like some of our competitors), we've increased the catalog limits for all premium plans up to 10x the original limits.
Catalog Plan (Free Plan): No change. Music creators can still enjoy managing up to 100 songs and unlimited recordings and releases at no cost.
Solo Plan ($15 per month): From 100 songs to 500 songs (5x increase). 1 user. Unlimited recordings and releases.
Band Plan ($35 per month): From 250 songs to 2,500 songs (10x increase). 5 users. Unlimited recordings and releases.
Company Plan ($95 per month): From 1,000 songs to 10,000 songs (10x increase). 15 users. Unlimited recordings and releases.
Existing users do not need to do anything to receive this plan upgrade. It has already taken effect across all accounts. Simply login to your account and you will see that the catalog song allocation has increased.
We'd like to hear your feedback, recommendations, and requests as we continue to improve the user experience. What do you think about this update? Let us know by sending a message through the in-app messenger.
